Pease
golf course is always a great experience, no matter what your handicap. Our
beautiful 27 holes of leafy woodlands, streams, and manicured greens are
visually stimulating, uniquely enjoyable, and suit all skill levels.
Originally built in 1901 as Portsmouth Country Club by Jack Kelly, designed by
Alexander Findly. In 1956 the US Air Force acquired the land and changed the
name to Pease Air Force Base Golf Course. Pease AFB was later closed and the
course was taken over by the State of New Hampshire, run by the Pease
Development Authority. Since then, many improvements have occurred to make it
one of the premier courses in New Hampshire.
